Regenerative Medicine & Invasive Procedures
We offer a variety of physical medicine injection procedures typically under ultrasound guidance, for increased accuracy of needle placement. This includes regenerative procedures including Prolotherapy, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), and Stem Cell Therapy.
Trigger Point Injections: a type of injection that targets and resolves points of local tenderness and muscle spasm.
Joint Injections using diagnostic ultrasound guidance. This includes a variety of medications including traditional steroids and Serapin, an herbal plant based anti-inflammatory steroid alternative.
Prolotherapy: a type of injection using Dextrose that promotes a localized inflammation in areas of hyper-mobility to increase blood supply, repair and strengthen ligaments. This is used for spine including unresolved whiplash injuries, extremity tendonitis, and chronic ligament sprains.
Synvisc & Hyalgan Osteoarthritis Knee Injections: these contain the natural substance, Hyaluronate which is normally found in knee cartilage and joint fluid. This has been clinically shown to improve arthritic knee function often enabling patients to avoid knee surgery including knee replacement.
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma): a regenerative procedure where the patients own blood is drawn and spun where the clear plasma containing platelets, growth factors and stem cell markers and injected to repair injured tissues.
Stem Cell Therapy: Stem cells are the cells within us that have the remarkable potential to renew and develop into many different types of cells in the body. These cells divide to reproduce cells just like themselves or can become another type of cell such as bone, muscles, nerve, skin or whatever else is needed by the body. They can repair cells, reduce inflammation, repair the immune system and work as an anti-viral and anti-bacterial.(Please visit www.youngsolution.com for more info)
